Bank holiday at Ellen Clothing Manufacturer

Yesterday was a bank holiday in Vietnam to celebrate independence day. When the employees of Ellen Clothing Manufacturer were asked what this independence day was about, the answers were very confusing: independence from the French, from the American and from the Chinese.

I still have no clue as to what we were celebrating. If someone knows, share it here in the comments section. Thanks,
