Akoo clothing line by TI. Hip hop clothes.
At ECM we love Akoo clothing line by TI.
TI fashion line and the Real Deal clothing line that we are working on are in the same style. We like hip hop clothes.
Of course, the success of TI means an easier start for his clothing line.
Of course, everyone is not lucky as him when it comes to visibility in the media. So if you are in the hip hop clothing business, the best that can happen is getting the help of someone famous. Not easy.
What might be possible though, is having less famous singers or DJs to wear your brand. Who knows? They might one day get a lot of exposure which is great communication for your brand.
Now if you type Akoo clothing line on Google, you will see they are really cool clothes. You will also find out that the king of the south (south of the USA?) is not available right now as he is in jail!!
Do you think being in jail is a BAD thing for a hip hop singer? Yes, of course. It's got to be.
Do you think this means bad publicity for his brand? I don't think so.
In fact I am pretty sure that the fact that TI is in jail comforts his status of bad boy which is good for sales in this business.
Important note: If you are running a hip hop clothing line, I do NOT recommend that you end up in jail to promote your brand. I know it works for TI but I've got a feeling that this is not the best way to promote your clothing brand.
Or am I wrong? For my part I won't take the risk. Would you?

Ellen Clothing Manufacturer instant quotation system
Designers of clothing brands will soon be able to use Ellen Clothing Manufacturer's instant quotation system.
The new software will be tested by consultants and quotation people this month for release before the end of the year.
The first version looks like a calculator which provides the user with the cost of getting the custom clothes made.
User friendly: It's quite fun too use! was the first comment by production people in the office.
The full version allows to add various garments quotation in the basket.
New, Fun and Free: There will also be a free version with public access.
